over the weekend. We will have dinner and a brief business meeting.

Please bring a covered dish, dessert or drinks. Open to the public,so invite

your friends and neighbors.

Democratic Club of Amelia Island Monthly Dinner February 26th 6:00 PM

Our February dinner speaker is Mike Lednovich, newly elected Fernandina Beach City Commissioner.  Bring your thoughts, concerns and questions!

 Dinner will be at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, 2800 Bill Melton Road, in Fernandina Beach.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening.  

 FUNDRAISER -- Cat's Angels!  They are always in need of supplies such as Purina One Cat and Kitten dry food, Fancy Feast wet food, cat litter, cleaning supplies: Dawn dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, bleach (liquid and spray), dryer sheets, Pine Sol and paper towels.   

 Reservations are critical -- please RSVP by Thursday, February 21!   (PLEASE RSVP NOW, while you're thinking about it!  Remember -- no reservations after Friday, February 22!)  You do NOT have to pay ahead of time -- just let us know you're coming!  (You also don't need to eat dinner to attend -- but please, still let us know you're coming.)  Here's how to RSVP:

  • Send a check for $20 per person, payable to DCAI, to:  DCAI, PO Box 16022, Fernandina Beach, FL 32035. (Or drop your check off at the Democratic Headquarters on 8th and Date.)

  • Just reply to this email or email Evi Mobbs at dcai.vp@nassaudems.org.  (You can pay with cash or check the night of the dinner, but please let us know you're planning to come!)

And don't forget to renew your membership in the DCAI or join for the first time.  Your support is critical to the success of the DCAI.  Membership is $25 per person, and helps us keep the Democratic Headquarters office open! Monthly Democratic Executive Committee (DEC) Meeting - Thurs, 2/14

The Executive Committee is made up of Precinct Captains from all over Nassau County. Any registered Democrat may be eligible to join and are always welcome to attend. We will have petitions for several 2020 ballot initiatives and information on 2019 elections. Please join us and bring a friend.

Monthly Yulee Club Planning Meeting - Wed, 2/13

We are in the process of setting up a Yulee Democratic Club to help us all catch the blue wave! Ongoing monthly meetings are being planned for the second Wednesday of the month at the County Extension Building in Yulee. Meetings will begin at 7PM. We will need to elect officers as soon as the club is fully established. Hope to see the Yulee folks there on February 13th!

We will elect new officers and Board of Directors to serve a 2-year term. Also on the agenda: approval of events for the coming year. Dues are still only $10 per year and are payable now. This is a re-certification year so please be sure we have your current information.
