Democratic Club of Amelia Island Monthly Dinner - Tuesday 26 March 6:00PM

Our March dinner speaker is Angie Hall, Chair of the Democratic Executive Committee of Nassau county (DEC). She has been a member of the DEC for 15 years and brings a wealth of knowledge regarding the operations of our organization and how we interact and relate to the the State Democratic Party. Angie will discuss this relationship and priorities for this year.

Dinner will be at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, 2800 Bill Melton Road, in Fernandina Beach.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening.

FUNDRAISER -- In honor of National Woman's Month, or non-profit donations this month will go to The Purple Dover Resale Center (in Yulee), which helps to support Micah's Place, Nassau County's only Certified Domestic Violence Center.  Toiletries, women's personal care products, and canned food are all welcome.

Reservations are critical -- please RSVP by Wednesday, March 20!   (PLEASE RSVP NOW, while you're thinking about it!  Remember -- no reservations after Thursday, March 21!)  You do NOT have to pay ahead of time -- just let us know you're coming!  (You also don't need to eat dinner to attend -- but please, still let us know you're coming.)  Here's how to RSVP:

  • Send a check for $20 per person, payable to DCAI, to:  DCAI, PO Box 16022, Fernandina Beach, FL 32035. (Or drop your check off at the Democratic Headquarters on 8th and Date.)

  • Reply to this email and include your dinner guests' names.

  • You can pay with cash or check the night of the dinner.

And don't forget to renew your membership in the DCAI or join for the first time.  Your support is critical to the success of the DCAI.  Membership is $25 per person, and helps us keep the Democratic Headquarters office open! You can bring a check to the dinner, or pay with PayPal on our new and improved website at www.nassaudems.org.  It looks fabulous -- check it out!!!

This is my first Newsletter to you as your new Vice President. I am open to new ideas and any improvements to our present format. Please feel free to email me at dcai.vp@nassaudems.org. I look forward to working for you this year. Evi Mobbs.
